Scott Winston, Land Broker, Licensed in South Dakota and Colorado
Scott Winston is a retired K-12 school principal, having served students, teachers and parents over a very rewarding career. Growing up hunting with his father, the outdoors has always been his passion. Aldo Leopold is Scott’s conservation hero and he has invested 40 years applying Leopold’s vision of wildlife management to his family’s hunting property. Through the years, Scott has become a recognized outdoor writer, with numerous stories and articles published annually in the major sporting journals. Going to work as an land broker in Colorado and South Dakota is simply a natural progression of his love of the forest and field. He is truly following in his father’s footsteps. Scott’s dad was an educator as well, but netted more income for his family selling real estate on summer vacation than in his job as a school principal. Scott is a family man, plays hand drums for Sunday church service, is a lover of gun dogs and vintage sporting arms. With a lifetime of hunting and conservation experience, Scott knows a good sporting property when he sees one!
